The Scenic drive 2: The Market Garden

A metà strada fra Moab e Brice, in mezzo alle alte pareti rocciose di un canyon, abbiamo trovato questo giardino con alberi di pesco e di melo.

On the way to Bryce we stopped inside a canyon where there was a very special market garden, with apple and peach trees.

Il cartello posto all'ingresso riporta il prezzo della frutta per libbra (453,6 grammi), ci sono a disposizione i sacchetti per la raccolta, le scale e la bilancia per pesare quanto raccolto.

At the entrance there was this sign with the price of the fruit per pound and the info to correctly collect and weigh the fruit. There where ladders in order to reach the higher branches of the trees.


E alla fine ovviamente si passa alla cassa, senza fare i furbi. In realtà noi abbiamo pagato un dollaro in meno perchè eravamo a corto di contanti.
