Wildlife in Bryce

Prima di passare alle migliori foto di Bryce Canyon, vorrei farvi vedere alcune foto che a Bryce sono del tutto comuni, spesso le si possono fare anche senza addentrarsi nel bosco.



E dopo i cornuti, nel senso dei maschi, ecco le femmine con i piccoli, come al solito in gruppo.


Questo magnifico posto si chiama Bryce dal colono Ebenezer Bryce che con la moglie Mary ebbe il coraggio di stabilirsi in queste zone nella seconda metà dell'800. Emblematica la sua definizione per questa fantastica terra: "E' un posto del cazzo dove perdersi una vacca". Da ciò si intuisce che era un mandriano e che soprattutto gli hoodoos formano spesso dei labirinti da cui è molto difficile venirne fuori.

The name Bryce come from the pioneer Ebenezer Bryce that in the second half of XIX century sattled in this area with his wife Mary, as you can better see from the table in the following picture. It's emblematic the way Mr Bryce used to define this land: "It's a hell of a place to lose a cow", from which one can deduce that the Hoodoos here form kinds of labyrinths very hard to sort out as well as Mr Bryce was a cattleman.
